From November 26 to 27, 2022, the 364th China Engineering Science and Technology Forum - ammonia hydrogen fusion new energy and transport equipment carbon neutrality technology innovation forum hosted by the Chinese Academy of Engineering was successfully held. The forum was hosted by the Chinese Academy of Engineering and co organized by the Mechanical and Transportation Engineering Department of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineering, Foshan Xianhu Laboratory in Guangdong Province, and the Guangdong Academicians' Federation. Academician Li Jun, Chairman of the China Society of Automotive Engineers, Director of Xianhu Laboratory, and Vice Chairman of the Academic Committee, presided over the forum.

The offline venue of the meeting is set up at the Xianhu Laboratory in Foshan. Shi Siqing, Executive Deputy Director of the laboratory, Lu Chihua, Tang Haolin, Li Kang, Academician Cheng Yibing, Strategic Scientist of the laboratory, and Professor Jiang Sanping, a leading talent, as well as Researcher Liu Yuxin, Vice President of the Intelligent Hydrogen Composite Power Research Institute, attended the meeting.

The forum is divided into two parts: a closed door seminar and a main forum. It was held online and offline. More than 20 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the Chinese Academy of Engineering were invited, and more than 300 expert representatives from more than 200 research institutes, universities and enterprises at home and abroad participated in the forum online. Nearly 20000 professional viewers watched the live broadcast in real time through platforms such as the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineering and the Chinese Academy of Engineering Zhiling.

On November 26, the forum organized a closed door seminar around the key project of the Chinese Academy of Engineering "carbon neutrality technology innovation strategy research of transport equipment based on ammonia hydrogen integration", which was chaired by Li Jun, president of the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineering and director of Xianhu Laboratory, chairman and director of Xianhu Laboratory, Zhang Qingjie, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Yang Fengtian, Yang Desen, Chen Xuedong, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Academician Wu Guanghui, Academician Sun Fengchun, Academician Yan Xinping, Academician Xiang Changle, Academician Wang Yunpeng, Academician Wu Ping, Dean of the National Institute of Energy and Transportation Integration Development at North China Electric Power University, Director Ding Jun of the Hydrogen Energy and Ammonia Application Research and Development Center at the Energy Research Institute of Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center, Chief Zhang Xiaoyan of the Strategic Management and Business Planning Department of FAW Group, and more than 30 project research teams attended the event. The academicians and experts at the meeting had in-depth discussions on the development status and trend of ammonia hydrogen integration new energy and transportation equipment, the demand for key technology innovation, safety, economy, demonstration application and other issues, laying a solid foundation for the development strategy and technical roadmap of ammonia hydrogen integration carbon neutrality transportation equipment in China.
