On February 2, 2024, the first annual meeting of Fairy Lake Laboratory was grandly opened. Leaders of Science and Technology Bureau of Foshan City and Nanhai District, representatives of alumni Association of Wuhan University of Technology, leaders of cooperative units, and all members of the laboratory and their families gathered together. The annual meeting includes two parts: summary commendation and Spring Festival gala.

At the meeting, Executive Deputy Director Shi Siqing reviewed the achievements in 2023, referring to the approval of the national energy key construction laboratory and the excellent results in the provincial assessment. He encouraged the team to continue to work hard, promote the second phase of construction, stick to the mission, and strive for the top.

The conference commended outstanding employees and graduate students, and Li Shuqing and officials of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau issued certificates. Then, the New Year party began, hosted by Zheng Xiaoyue and Zhou Jiwei. More than 60 performers, including laboratory, company employees and their families, diverse programs, the scene atmosphere is warm.
