Academician Cheng Yibing, on behalf of Foshan Xianhu Laboratory, signed a memorandum of cooperation on clean energy combustion scientific research with Saudi KAUST on March 6th, . The signing ceremony was witnessed by Tony Chan, President of KAUST, and Professor Willima Roberts, Director of the Research and Development Center for Clean Combustion.

KAUST's Clean Combustion R&D Center is a top-tier laboratory funded by Saudi Aramco that focuses on advanced combustion technology research. The center has advanced equipment and research areas including simulation, flame diagnosis, and fuel applications.

Academician Cheng Yibing and his team visited the Clean Combustion Research and Development Center and visited the laboratory. Sixteen researchers from the two teams reported on the progress of ammonia combustion and discussed future research collaborations and graduate training plans. The visit successfully achieved the expected results.
