For many years, he has been engaged in the frontier research in engineering thermophysics, energy science and technology and the training of graduate students and young teachers. It has won many awards for scientific research and teaching achievements, and the team led by it has won the innovation team of the Ministry of Education and the first batch of national excellent teaching teams.
In terms of scientific research, aiming at the efficient utilization of energy, we have carried out systematic basic and applied research on numerical simulation of flow and heat transfer process, mechanism of enhanced heat transfer and heat transfer problems in new energy utilization for a long time, and achieved innovative results, which have been widely used in aerospace, energy and chemical fields. He has won two second prizes of the National Natural Science Award, one second prize of the National Technological Invention Award, two first prizes of provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress awards, and the Ho Leung Ho Lee Science and Technology Progress Award. He has published 9 books and textbooks, and 3 chapters of English works; He has published more than 500 research papers, including more than 300 international journals and more than 100 international conferences. More than 300 papers were included in SCI, and more than 470 papers were included in EI. His works were cited more than 3600 times by him, and more than 2000 times by SCI. It has obtained 30 invention patents and more than 30 software copyrights granted by the National Copyright Administration.
